Chartered Accountants are exempt from 9 papers and can directly begin from a professional level. The pace at which you study for your ACCA is very flexible. You can choose how you study, how often you sit for your exams and where you get your relevant practical experience. Typically, the time taken by a Chartered Accountant is 6 to 8 months. However, this will depend on the number of papers you decide to take per exam window. The average passing percentage for the professional level exam is in the range of 40% – 45% (Dec’18).
